Biography

2023-24

Junior Bryson Tiller had a season for the ages, repeating as OTE champion and taking home a number of individual accolades in the process. After a strong season in which he nearly averaged a double-double, Tiller was named to the All-OTE Second Team for the first time in his career. On top of his impressive offensive statistics, Tiller also finished top three in Defensive Player of the Year voting as he used his size and speed to become one of the most versatile defenders in the league. In the regular season, Tiller averaged 12.2 PPG and his 9.4 RPG was a top three mark in all of OTE. Tiller is an impressively strong and springy athlete and that showed clearly in his block (1.6 BPG) and dunk (1.4 DPG) numbers which were both top five in the league. Tiller put together two games with four blocks apiece in the regular season, both tied for the seventh most in a game this season.

After winning a championship with the City Reapers during the 2022-23 season, Tiller knew what it took to win another during the 2023-24 season and was able to raise his game to new heights in the postseason. Tiller elevated his scoring average to 15.6 PPG and maintained his spot in the top five in both rebounds and blocks per game. On top of his increased scoring, Tiller was also extremely efficient in the playoffs, shooting 50% from the field which was a top ten mark of all players. Tiller’s strongest showing in the playoffs came in a three-point win over RWE in Game 2 of the Finals, when he scored a team-high 21 points, including two ice cold free throws with three seconds left in the game to put the Reapers up three and ultimately close out the game.

2022-23

Won the championship with the City Reapers in his first season with OTE. Bryson was traded from the Cold Hearts to the City Reapers halfway through the season. He averaged 11.5 points and 6.9 rebounds per game through the regular season. He scored in double figures in 12 of the 15 games this season. Pulled down five double-doubles in the regular season with one 20 point and 15 rebound outing against the Bruins. Bryson scored in double figures in all three championship games. In the clinching game, he went 7-11 from the floor and finished with 15 points and eight rebounds. Was one of two sophomores at OTE this season. Bryson became the first sophomore ever to sign with OTE.

Prep

Bryson is ranked number six in the ESPN25 for 2025. The rising sophomore attended Pace Academy during his freshman year. Last summer before he was in high school, Tiller played at the 17U level with Atl Xpress and looked very comfortable playing against players that were at least three years older than him, including current OTE player TJ Clark. Coming off of a strong freshman season, he participated in USA Basketball’s U17 Minicamp. College coaches haven’t been able to make contact yet with Tiller, but he already holds several high major offers to colleges.
